Routine and comfort are the enemies of progress. It is a trap that we all fall into in many ways.

Sometimes we notice it but are too set in our ways to change. More often, however, we get stuck in our ways against all logic and common sense, without even being aware of it.

The only antidote to it is ‘preventive maintenance’. Make a list of things you do routinely and every day choose one of them to break and do differently. Like wearing your watch on the other wrist, or taking a different route to work, etc.

Getting out of your comfort zone in small ways will give you courage to do it on a larger scale.
Remember: all achievement lies outside the comfort zone.

If you are serious about your life and achieving your goals, you must become deliberate in your approach. You must plan meticulously, focus singlemindedly and execute methodically.
